Take “tu” form of verb (e.g.) hablar, hablas; comer, comes; escribir, escribes
Drop the “s”

- Infinitive

How to form the formal imperative (usted; ustedes)
- 1st person singular form of the verb’s present tense
- Drop the “o”
- For “ar” verbs, add “e” or “en”
- For “er” and “ir” verbs: add “a” or “an”
