A

changes in a community begin with bare rock (NO SOIL)

A

due to a disturbance in an already established community, such as fire or flood which removes most or all of the original vegetation. soil is present

A

humans benefit from it eg. food, shelter, medicine
all life is interconnected: if one is affected all is –> saving a species is not the same as maintaining a living community
all life should be respected, humans should not lead to destruction of species
