US agrees to sell large weapons to anyone with cash and a boat to carry it on

outlines the war of WWII, but the US wasn’t in war. SIG: the US new they’d have to get involved in the war.

US turned tide in the pacific, Japan was no longer an OFFENSIVE threat, so US could focus on Europe.
