Acute care setting

Used to refer the person who receives Karen in a long term settings
Cognitive impairment
Impairment is difficult with thinking processes involving memories, reasoning, judgment and languages, such as that caused by disorders like Alzheimer’s disease.
Nursing home and assisting-living facilities
Two major types of long-term care settings. People who cared for in assisted living facilities require some assistance with tasks such as activities of daily living ADL or reminders of taking medications, but otherwise fairly independent.
Nursing homes
People who are cared for in nursing homes require much higher level of nursing care and supervision as compared with those who live in assisted living facilities
Assisted living facilities
People who care for an assisted living facilities require some assistance with test such as activities of daily living or reminders of medication but otherwise fairly independent most live on their own apartment so I have access to shared in the buildings on campus such as restaurants dining in areas recreation

Official recognition that the facility provides care to a certain standard. Is another way for recipients of healthcare to have confidence that they are receiving quality care
