The notion that the self arises from the interpersonal interactions and the perceptions of others.

The process of being aware of and understanding the world.

Being exposed only to the beliefs, values, and ideas that are similar to our own.

The notion that the appearance and roles of avatars can lead to behavior changes in their uses.

One’s mental picture of oneself.
Self-image
Something that hinders effective communication by influencing observation and interpretation.
