As a grouping of nomadic Arab people who have historically inhabited the desert regions in North Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, Iraq, and the Levant (Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, & Palestine)
What are the different types of UAE bedouins?
1- Migrant bedouins
2- Semi-Migrant bedouins
3- Seasonal migrant bedouins.
What is a migrant bedouin?
These keep moving from one place to another all year long. (Awamer - Manaseer)
What is a semi-migrant bedouin?
These fluctuate between nomadic life style and settlement style. Most Emirates are of this style. (Bani Qatab-Al Awamer)
What is a seasonal migrant bedouin?
They move to the top of the mountains in the summer and to the plains in the winter (Al Shohooh in RAK and Dibba)
