What is a compound?
A
A compound is made up of two or more elements.

What is a mixture?
A
Elements compound and other things all together that can be seperated

Can compounds be seperated?
A
No they are fixed together

What is filtration?
A
Where you have a mixture consisting of a liquid and a fine solid like sand and you use a funnel and filter paper to seperate the solid from the liquid.

What is sieving?
A
When you have lots of solids mixed together and you want to take the biggest one out you use a sieve so all the little solids go through the holes the biggest ones don’t.

An element is made up of one substance on the periodic table
