How are settlement periods paid?
Via a settlement run
How many settlement runs are there and what are the dates between successive runs?
0 - Interm Info run (1 week, only info) 1 - Initial Settlement Run (SF) - 1 Month 2 - Reconciliation Run (R1) - 2 Months 3 - Reconciliation Run (R2) - 5 Months 4 - Reconciliation Run (R3) - 7 Months 5 - Final Run (RF) - 14 Months 6 - Dispute Final (DF) - 28 Months
- Larger customers have HH meters and can be done sooner
- Domestic customers tend to have NHH meters, and will need more data for an accurate picture
What are codes of Practice?
Rules that apply to all metering systems
What requirement must all HH meters follow?
They should all be able to provide info which can be collected and validated by:
- Half Hourly Data Collector (HHDC) - Centeral Data Collection Agency (CDCA)
Who are the HHDC?
Work on behalf of the supplier to retrieve, validate and process meter readings
Who are the CDCA?
Collect readings from larger sites that tend to be connected to the grid directly (Generators, etc)
