Q

What do these processes have in common? How do they differ?

A

The purpose that they have in common is they both have to do with active energy, they both have a reactant and they both have a product. The difference is that energy absorption has a lower reactant than the product and a higher activation energy. In releasing the energy it has an enzyme that helps it move faster. Also for releasing the energy it has a higher reactant and lower product.
