Charles was unwilling to compromise and unable to understand point of views that differ from his own, he also has an inferiority complex.

The court was open and lively, there was open and physical interactions with his courtiers.

Drunken and immoral, in the beginning it was overly dominated by scots.

There was strict order imposed and it was heavily dominated by catholics and arminians
