A
The clock keeps everything in the computer working at the right pace and in harmony.

A
Sends out regular pulses making the computer work in a coordinated manner keeping the CPU, memory and other components in sync.

A
The speed of the ticks determine how quickly the CPU can process instructions. Faster clock means more instructions being processed per second.

A
