(RRL)
RRL includes 3 main components
- short overview and critique of previous research
- similarities and differences of past and new
- explanation of the theoretical frameworks
Significance of Review of Related Literature
- help find gaps
- avoid duplicates
- provides overview
- demonstrates researcher’s familiarity
Steps to find sources:
- Identify search terms.
- Find an initial pool of sources.
- Filter the sources by authors’ credentials.
- Choose the most influential sources.
- Sort out the sources.
