Northern s that made it to the south during the reconstruction to find wealth by bringing industry to the south

Named used by former confederate to describe some white southern that were pro-union

Laws that required African Americans and whites to be separated in almost every public place in the south

The court said segregation was legal as long as it was Separate AND Equal

African Americans that left the south after the war
