stop sign is efficacious?
an efficacious sign causes what it signifies. a stop sign does not force a car to stop – therefore it is NOT efficacious
consecration
the act of changing the substance of bread and wine into the body and blood of Christ. We see the priest consecrate the Eucharist, but it is Jesus working through the priest who actually consecrates the bread and wine.
worthy to receive Communion
