An illusion consisting of two lines of equal length, each having opposite shaped patterns on the ends. One with an arrowhead and the other with feather tails where the feather tail line is perceived as longer

What’s the Ames room

A

A room that is constructed in such a way that we perceive it to be normal from a certain angle. However, if a person walks from one corner to the other they appear to grow or shrink this is because the room is actually trapezoid shaped so when a person moves from one corner to the other they actually move closer or further away
