ADHD
Extreme inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity
Psychological disorder
Deviant, distressful and dysfunctional behavior patterns.
Medical model
The concept that diseases, in this case psychological disorders have physical causes that can be diagnosed, treated, and in most cases cured

Anxiety disorders
Disorders characterized by distressing persistent anxiety or maladaptive behaviors to reduce anxiety
Generalized anxiety disorder
Continually tense, apprehensive, and in a state of autonomic nervous system arousal
Panic disorder
An anxiety disorder in which a person randomly suffers from panic attacks
Phobia
Anxiety disorder marked by an irrational fear
OCD
Unwanted repetitive thoughts and/or actions
PTSD
Anxiety disorder caused by intense symptoms after traumatic experience
Post traumatic growth
Positive psychological changes as a result of struggling with life crises
Somatoform disorder
Bodily symptoms without physical cause
Conversion disorder
Rare somatoform disorder which a person experiences genuine physical pain with no cause
Hypochondriasis
Person interprets normal physical sensations as symptoms of a disease
Dissociative disorders
Conscious awareness becomes separated
