Stage 1-Onset of contractions to complete dilation
Stage 2-Full dilation to birth of fetus
Stage 3-birth of fetus to delivery of placenta
Stage 4-post placenta until 1-2 hours after delivery (stabilization)
what is the shortest phase of labor
stage 3
what is uterine inversion
the uterus starts to come out so you have to shove it back in
what are the two phases of the first stage of labor
Latent phase (0 to 6 cm of dilation)
