What is a spin?

What are the factors that cause a spin?
A
Either or both of the wings have stalled
The aircraft is auto rotating

Incipient spin
A
the aircraft has stalled (high nose attitude, low speed, buffet) and
autorotation has begun but the aircraft has not yet autorotated through 1 complete
turn. Usually, the recovery action is to centralise the controls.

What is a fully developed spin?
A
a stable flight condition which requires no control input to
maintain. The aircraft settles into steady yawing, rolling, pitching flight with (often)
a low nose attitude and high rate of descent.
