arises with a wish that a desired goal might attain

german word that entails taking pleasure in the misfortunate of others
empathy
triggered by another persons emotional state of situational circumstances and it involves the observer feeling what the other feels
compassion
is a positive emotion when it cannotes caring and when the focus is on the one who is cared fro while compassion is a negative emotion when it is tightly paired with distress and suffering and when one focuse on that personal distress
