- More individualistic themes tend to be found in Western cultures, more collectivist themes in Eastern cultures.
Why is the study of “race” not very fruitful?
The notion of race is very vague. Rather, we should study the effects of ethnic identification, history, minority status, family, subculture, religion, and social class as they interact with temperament and affect personality. These classifications are more readily defineable and less susceptible to scientific and social distortion.
