Indications:
Hypoglycemia, Altered LOC, Coma/Seizure of unknown etiology, Status Epilepticus

Contraindications:
Intracranial Hemorrhage

Dose (Pediatric):
0.5 - 1.0 g / kg / dose slow IV, may be repeated as necessary

Epinephrine (Adrenalin)

A
Indications:
Cardiac Arrest (V-Fib, Pulseless V-Tach, Asystole, PEA), Bradycardia (Alternate to Dopamine), Allergic Reactions, Anaphylaxis, Asthema

Contraindications:
Hypertension, Hypothermia, Pulmonary Edema, Myocardial Ischemia, Hypovolemic Shock

Dose (Pediatric):
Mild allergic reactions & asthma - 0.01 mg/kg (1:1,1000) (max 0.3mg)

Cardiac Arrest - 0.01 mg/kg (1:10,000) every 3-5 min

Continuous Infusion - 0.1 - 1.0 mcg/min

A

Indications:
Altered LOC when hypoglycemia is suspected

Contraindications:
Hyperglycemia

Dose (Pediatric):
0.5 - 1.0 mg IM

Indications:
Opiate Overdose, Coma, Decreased LOC/Coma of unknown origin

Contraindications:
Use with caution in narcotic dependent parents/neonates

A

Indications:
Hypoxia (<95%), ischemic chest pain, carbon monoxide poisoning, decreased LOC

Contraindications:
COPD in certain circumstances
