People who think with reason and their choices are consistent
What is satisficing
identifying a solution that is “good enough” such as the first acceptable option
What is bounded rationality
limitations on one’s ability to interpret, process, and act on information

the initial positions of individual members of a group are exaggerated because of the interactions of the group
What is brainstorming
generate ideas, solve problems, and encourage innovative thinking

more complete information and knowledge, and leads to increase acceptance of a solution

Utilitarian criterion, rights criterion, justice criterion, care criterion
What is utilitarian criterion
focuses on outcomes or consequences that emphasizes the greater good for the greatest number of people
What is rights criterion
decisions consistent with the Canadian charter of rights
What is justice criterion
impose and enforce rules fairly and impartially so there is an equitable distribution of benefits and costs
What is care criterion
express care in protecting the special relationships that individuals have with each other
