Independents
Freedom, especially from control by another Country or government.
Patriot
People in American colonist who wanted the colonies to break away from Great Britain. Such people favored independence for colonies.
Loyalists
People in American colonies Who wanted The car needs to remain under the control of the king and Great Britain.
Neutralists
American colonists Who did not support either side (loyalists or patriots) in the fight for independence from Great Britain.
Traitor
A person, guilty of acting against his or her country.
Sons of liberty
The Sons of Liberty were a grassroots group of instigators and provocateurs in colonial America who used an extreme form of civil disobedience—threats, and in some cases actual violence—to intimidate loyalists and outrage the British government.
