Pectoralis minor
O-anterior surface of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th ribs. I-coracoid process of scapula
Pectoralis major
O-Clavicle, sternum, cartilage of the first 6 ribs and aponeurosis of external oblique muscle. I-fibers converge to insert by short tendon into inter tubercle groove of the humerus
Deltoid
O-lateral third of clavicle; acromion and spine of scapula. I-deltoid tuberosity of humerus
Rectus abdominis
O- pubic crest and symphysis
External abdominal oblique
O- outer surface of the last 8 ribs. I- linea alba, pubic crest and tubercles, and iliac crest
Trapezius
O- occipital bone; spines of C7 and all thoracic vertebrae. I- acromion and spinous process of scapula; lateral third of clavicle
Latissimus Doris
I- indirect attachment to spinous processes to lower 6 thoracic vertebrae, lumbar vertebrae, lower 3 to 4 ribs, and iliac crest. O- floor of intertubercle groove off humerus
Triceps brachii
O- long head; infraglenoid tubercle of scapula; lateral head; posterior humerus; medial head; distal to radial groove on posterior humerus. O- olcranon process of ulna
Biceps brachii
Short head; coracoid process; long head; runs in intertubercular groove of humerus
Sartorius
O- Anterior superior iliac spine. I- Medial aspect of proximal tibia
Rectus femoris
O- Anterior inferior iliac spine and superior margin of acetabulum. I- tibial tuberosity and patella.
Vastus lateralis
Greater trochanter, intertrochanteric line and linea aspera
Vastus medialis
Linea aspera and intertrochanteric line
Vastus intermedius
Anterior and lateral surface of femur. I- tibial tuberosity and patella
Gluteus Maximus
O- dorsal ilium, sacrum and coccyx. I- gluteal tuberosity of femur and iliotibial tract
