applies to orders added after you’ve specified that default order category.

With Basic mode end users do not have a choice; all orders added by the protocol builder will appear
in the treatment plan. With Single‐select, users can select one order from many to be included in the
treatment plan; if the group does not include a default selection no orders will appear in the
treatment plan until a user selects one.
