Weighs options of two therapies that have similar effects
I.E. the cost of a drug
Cost-Effectiveness
Compares two or more therapies that may not always be equivalent
I.E. exercise vs hypertension medication
Cost-Benefit
Uses a cost to benefit ratio that deems the therapy potentially worth the cost.
I.E. all the people spending 400 a shot on ozempic
Cost-Utility
Measure quality of adjusted life years
I.E. yeah grandma had a stroke but was living in a memory care needing help with all her care.
