The degree of pleasure an employee derives from a job (Hulin & Judge, 2003)

What is organizational commitment?

extent to which an employee identifies with and is involved with an organization (Morrow, 1993)

what are the 3 types of organizational commitment

– Affective Commitment – Extent to which employee wants to remain with organization, cares about it, and is willing to exert effort on its behalf
– Continuance Commitment – Extent to which employee believes he/she must stay with organization due to time served, or due to difficulty in finding another job
– Normative Commitment – Extent to which employee feels obligated to stay at organization
