How does Master Freeland differ from Covey?
He was educated, and insensible to honor, justice, & humanity. He was open and you could always find him. He did not follow a religion.
What is ironic about the religious slave owners?
They used religion to cover their crimes.
What does Douglass do on Sundays?
He teaches other slaves how to read.

Never.
