The climax of Salvation History, the coming of Jesu Christ, the fullness of God’s Revelation
Inspiration
The guidance given to the human authors of Sacred Scripture so they wrote what God wanted written for our benefit
Evangelist
A person who proclaims the Good News of Jesus Christ. “The 4 Evangelists” refer to the authors of the 4 Gospels
Canon
The official list of the inspired books of the Bible. Catholics list 46 Old Testament books and 27 New Testament books in the canon
Catechesis
The process of religious instruction and formation in the major elements of the Catholic faith
Synoptic Gospels
The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, which, because of their similarities, can be “seen together” in parallel columns and mutually compared
