Asexual reproduction

The sequence of events from one division to another

The fusion of two gametes to produce a zygote during sexual reproduction
Meiosis
A type of cell division that results in gametes. The cells are haploid.
Mitosis
A type of cell division in which two cells produced are identical to the parent cell. Used for growth and repair
Reproduction
The process in which organisms produce young
Sexual reproduction
Involves fusion of two sex cells called gametes.
Resulting cell is called a zygote.
