What is Rehabilitation?
The restoration of the ability to function following an illness, disorder or injury.
What is the goal of treatment?
To restore the highest level of function and health possible for each patient.
What does Physical Therapy Treatment do?
Restore function or prevent disability through the use of exercise, heat, massage or other methods.
What does Occupational Therapy Treatment do?
Restore activities of daily living (ADLs), bathing, dressing, eating, using the toilet, getting in or out of bed.
What does Speech-Language Pathology do?
Treatment for patients with speech, language and swallowing disorders.
What does Respiratory Therapy do?
Aid patients with breathing disorders and even them on the use of inhalers and supplemental oxygen.
What does Sports Medicine do?
Treatment and prevention of sports-related injuries.
What does Vocational Rehab do?
Preparing individuals to return to work after an injury or medical event.
