What is the definition of physical heath and wellbeing? Include examples.
Relates to the state and functioning of the body and it’s systems. Examples include healthy bodyweight, absence of illness, disease, and injury, optimal levels of energy, physical capacity to perform daily tasks, appropriate levels of fitness, optimal blood pressure, and well-functioning body systems and organs.
What is the definition of emotional heath and wellbeing? Include examples.
Relates to the ability to express feelings in an appropriate way. Examples include the ability to recognise and understand emotional actions and reactions. having a high level of resilience, effectively expressing and managing emotional actions and reactions, and experience appropriate emotions given in scenarios.
What is the definition of social heath and wellbeing? Include examples.
Relates to the state and quality of the interactions and relationships that an individual has with other people. Examples include having a supportive network of friends, a supportive and well-functioning family, the ability to manage or adapt appropriately to different social situations, effective communication with others, and productive relationships with other people.
What is the definition of spiritual heath and wellbeing? Include examples.
Relates to the ideas, beliefs, values, and ethics that arise in the minds and conscience of human beings. Examples include having a sense of belonging and connection to the world, positive meaning, place, and purpose in life, peace and hope, developed personal values and beliefs, and acting according to values and belief.
What is the definition of mental heath and wellbeing? Include examples.
Relates to the current state of wellbeing relating to a person’s mind or brain and the ability to think and process information. Examples include low levels of stress and anxiety, optimal self-esteem (how a person feels about themself), ability to think and process information, high levels of confidence, use logic and reasoning to form opinions and make decisions, and positive thought patterns (being optimistic).

Subjective health can be viewed in many different ways, influenced by or based on personal beliefs, feelings, or opinions

Dynamic health means that is it constantly changing or moving continually in responses to its environment and experiences

Optimal health and wellbeing therefore refers to the highest level of health and wellbeing and individual can realistically attain. Examples include gain an education, earn an income, and live independently.

It’s importance for a country. Examples include higher average income, increased social participation, and reduced stress and anxiety in the community.
What is the definition of optimal health and wellbeing Globally? Include examples.
It’s importance on a global scale. Examples include assists in promoting peace and stability, promotes social development, and promotes economic development.
