Agility
The ability to move and change direction quickly whilst maintaining control.
Reaction time
The time taken to respond to a stimulus.
Speed
The maximum rate at which an individual is able to perform a movement or cover a distance in a period of time.
speed = distance / time
Co ordination
The ability to use two or more different body parts together, smoothly and efficiently.
Balance
The ability to keep the body stable by maintaining the centre of mass over the base of support.
Power
Is the product of strength and speed.
power = strength x speed
Muscular Endurance
The ability of your muscle groups to undergo repeated contractions, avoiding fatigue.
Muscular Strength
The ability of a muscle to overcome a resistance.
Flexibility
The range if movement possible at a joint.
Cardio vascular Endurance
Is the ability of the heart and lungs to supply oxygen to the working muscles.
