- So client understands the service.
- Prevent misunderstandings about what has been discussed.

- Client will feel more at ease.

- High porosity will absorb more moisture.
- Hair will feel rough, may affect the end result.

Why does the density of hair need to be considered?
- May affect the styling time of the service.
