What does monotheism mean?
It means that Christians believe in one supreme being God.
Name a Christian teaching that shows there is only one God.
“We believe in one God”-The Nicene Creed
Name qualities of God and name religious teaching to back them.
- 1 John4:16- “God is love’
- Psalm 86:15-“But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.”
- Colossians 3:13-“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
What does Omnipotent mean?
It means God has unlimited power and is all-powerful.
What does Benevolent mean?
It means God is all-loving.
What does just mean?
It means that God will not support injustice, ill-treatment, prejudice, or oppression.
What is the holy trinity?
The belief that there is One God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
