Seen as unimportant stage in their lives and expected to work at young age. Died at young age
History of child development
Involves writing down everything within a certain amount of time (getting to know a child or group)
Running record
Similar to running record but deals with same situation (when used to see Childs in new environment)
Anecdotal record
How often a certain behavior occurs (change undesirable behavior)
Frequency count
Identifies what skills should have by a certain age
Developmental checklist
Uses facts to describe things (more valuable)
Objective observation
Observation that uses opinion rather than facts
Subjective observation
