Define manager, who is a manager?
Manager is someone who coordinates and oversees the work of other people so that organizational goals can be accomplished. They help others do their solve work, problems prevent problems, and try to develop the organization.
Three classes of managers (main characteristics)
First-line managers ( lowest level, manage Te work of non-managirial employees)
Middle managers ( between first line mangers and top-level of the organization).
Top managers(responsible for making orginizational-wide decisions, establishing the strategy, goals ).
Why are managers important?
