Illumination Experiments
objective: effect of quality of lighting and how it affects the productivity of wokers.
des: one room light was constant and other the light was varied.
result: increased productivity in both rooms. no change.

objectivity: to ascertain teh relationship between the working conditions and productivity

1. incentive plan on the performance of the other five rahter than the output.

result: the output increased.
Interview program
massive interview was held with more than ten thousand workers on their working conditions, jobs, supervision.
result: it revealed that teh morale of the workers were improves as they had teh satisfaction of having their view heard. their words were not facts but the reflection of a workers personal feelings and sentiments.
bank wiring group observation
14 male workers were set to work. fixed hourly wage for average outputs and bonus wage for group effort. it was expected that the high effective workers would pressure the low effective workers but that was not teh case. they established their own standard of output. they described it was the desire to protect the low effective workers, fear of unemployment and fear od increase in output.
