What forecasting means?
Activity that utilise numbers inputs and various other forms of data to make informed business decision
What are the forcast factors ?
- determination of people needed within a future period
- estimation of the current number of team members with the ability to fill various organisational roles in the future.
What are the two sources used to fill employees vacancies?
- Internal labor market: relevant work, experience, education, certification, skills and competencies
- External Labor market: outside of the firm using social media, smartphones users..
What’s the selection process?
1- Initial qualification screening: if the candidate meet the basic qualifications
2- Employment testing: for example physical testing
3- Interview selection: discussion about their experience, education, skills…
4- Background check: checking the references
5- Physical examination and drugs testing
6- The decision and the offer
