Destroying or Defacing Official Notices; penalty

A

(1) I/K, removes/destroys/defaces any notice posted in compliance with any statute, rule, order of court, or order of the department of health, BEFORE THE EXPIRATION DATE of the notice, shall be guilty of a violation subject to a fine of not more than $100.
(2) Any such notice shall prominently include the expiration date and a statement, “THE DESTRUCTION, REMOVAL, OR DEFACEMENT OF THIS NOTICE PRIOR TO THE EXPIRATION DATE IS PROHIBITED BY LAW AND PUNISHABLE BY FINE.”
