  1. Unresponsive patient and you do not know MOI
  2. A fall from a height greater than 1 meter/5 stairs
  3. MV collisions or ejection from a MV (motor vehicle)

  5. Injuries involving severe blunt trauma to head or trunk
  6. Any deeply penetrating wound to the head or trunk
  7. Any diving mishap
  8. In general any high energy impacts/injuries

A

A

O - Onset - When did it begin?
P - Provocation - What causes the pain to get worse?
Q - Quality - what does the pain feel like (sharp, dull, stabbing, etc)
R - Region/Radiation - Where does it hurt and does it radiate to other areas?
S - Severity - How bad is the pain? Scale of 1-10

95-100 - normal oxygen content in the blood
91-94 - mild hypoxia
86-90 - moderate hypoxia
