What is a magnetic field?
A
A region of space where a magnetic force acts on a magnet or moving charge or current-carrying conductor.
Example: The Earth’s magnetic field influences the direction of a compass needle.

What is magnetic flux density?
A
Magnetic force per unit current per unit length acting on a current-carrying long straight conductor placed at right angle to the magnetic field.
Example: Magnetic flux density is measured in teslas (T).
