Q

when is a river cliff formed?

A

when helicordial flow causes a river to flow towards the outer banks, the bottom flow is towards the inner bank…causing variations in the cross section as well as variations in erosion and deposition. these variations give rise to river cliffs on the outer banks and slip off slopes.
