Supports farmers allowing them to earn a fair price and added premium is used to improve their community

People who have a low income are loaned money that is used to improve their business that helps the community. Everyone involved is a shareholder

When debts are made more manageable usually for LIC’s from HIC’s
How have Uganda and Guyana been helped by debt relief?
Uganda has new road networks to improve trading and Guyana can spend an extra 20% on healthcare and now have an NHS
What is aid?
When others give money or resources to the struggling.
How do water purifiers help the development gap to reduce?
They reduce sick days, illness and are environmetnally and cheap.
What effect does tourism have and what does this do?
It creates the multiplier effect which is when one positive causes another positive and so on.
Why is Nigeria economically important?
- Biggest economy in Africa
- Expected to overtake countries such as France by 2050
- There largest sector on the Demographic Dividend is economically active.
How is Nigeria’s industrial structure changing?
Their GPD $101 billion to $570 billion and Nollywood is 3rd largest in the world.
How did oil and manufacturing help Nigeria?
- Helped it become an NEE
- It accounts for 14% GPD
