Employment and unemployment insurance
-Unemployment dropped from 2 million in 1924 to 1.3 million in 1928
-1927, an Unemployment Insurance Act was established which workers would pay 3% pf their wages. In return they would receive 60 marks per week if they fell out of work or were sick
Work
-Real wages increased to around 25% by 1928
-In 1925 most workers would work 50 hours per week whereas in 1927, they worked 47b hours on average
Housing
-Between 1924 and 1931, 2 million new houses were build
-by 1929, The Weimar republic was spending 33 times more on housing then Germany had done in 1913
-Homeless rates dropped by more then 60% by 1928
Other
-Education increased from 70000 to 110000 in 1928
-1920 Reich pension law ensured 750000 war veterans and 400000 war widows had pensions
