-Change management is more essential than ever as in-house legal teams are overhauling how they operate in the wake of legal technology.
-Educating lawyers on the importance of change is first necessary before proceeding with the education of lawyers as to how to work alongside new technologies such as automated workflows and even AI.
If they do
-If legal operations teams are able to master their change management, they will be able to reap the benefits of legal transformation much quicker as well as seeing long term successes and sustained growth.
-This improves the team’s adaptability in the face of future technological advances as well as the current changes we are seeing in the industry, ultimately improving the efficiency of the legal team.
If they don’t
-If legal teams can’t manage change within the legal team effectively, teams will see increased turnover which can be costly, as well as not seeing the value from the technology investment.

-Change management is part project management and part social art. -Changes will not take effect if the education surrounding these changes does not exist.

-Change management takes time. You won’t immediately see the impact of education.
-Change management is a difficult skill in itself. If these skills don’t exist in the legal operations team, their will be no success
