o It is in Chaos
o High power, +ve impact
o Low power, +ve impact: Farmers markets
o High power –ve impact: Food marketing, selling junk food in schools
o Low power –ve impact
• Idea: shift all of things with high power and –ve impact to LOW power section… and all things with low power and +ve impact to HIGH power
what is the local innovation approach?
- Individual, institutions/public opinion, government
- No time for a Top Down approach because the Fed is slow to react
- i.e. Community supported agriculture – People buy shares which they can work for, regular allocations of food, helps farmers
- Can exist under the radar of corporate interests
- Fosters ingenuity
