Treatment for chancroid
A
intramuscular injection of ceftriaxone (250 mg) or a single dose of oral azithromycin (1 g).
Effective oral multiple-dose regimens include ciprofloxacin, 500 mg orally twice daily for 3 days; or erythromycin, 500 mg three times daily for 7 days.
