How is BV diagnosed?
A
Amsel’s criteria: (1) presence of adherent gray vaginal discharge, (2) vaginal pH greater than 4.5, (3) positive amine odor in the presence of an alkali such as potassium hydroxide, and (4) presence of clue cells on wet mount.

A
Flagyl 500 mg BID X 7 days
