Landforms: what is a dry valley?
Formed by a river either when the chalk was frozen during the ice age or when the water table was much higher than it is today.
What is a spring line?
Water reemergence from the rock onto the ground surface, they often occur at the base of the scarp slope
What is a vale?
A flat plain typically formed on clay
How is an escarpment formed?
Resistant chalk erodes more slowly creating the escarpment
